New four-part DIY live session series from Sam De Nef & Camille Camille
Unveiling the second part 'Strangers' now
Sam de Nef and Camille Camille release 'Strangers,' the second instalment of a new four-part DIY live session series. The session was recorded in the cosy atmosphere of De Mortselarij, Sam and drummer Denis' home studio and creative space. This is also where Sam and Camille's joint debut EP 'Waving' (November 23) was recorded. During the session, they perform two new songs previously successfully tested during their live tour, along with two tracks from 'Waving.'
The intimate atmosphere of the live session is set by the creative design of the decor, draped in white and illuminated by a handcrafted moon. Camille and her brother Antoine Willemart filmed and edited the footage, enhancing the warm, tangible feel of the music. Long-time friend Pieter-Jan Decraene handled the recording, mixing, and mastering, as he did with the EP.
The full EP 'Live at the Mortselarij' will be released on August 30.
This summer, you can find the duo at intimate festivals such as OLT Rivierenhof and M-idzomer, with an extensive tour planned for the fall. In the meantime, catch a glimpse of the magic of Sam de Nef and Camille Camille in this intriguing live session.
