'The Monolith Tour' wordt geprezen als de meest ambitieuze productie uit de carrière van David Guetta: een baanbrekende mix van muziek, technologie en visueel design. Centraal staat een indrukwekkend podium in de vorm van een monoliet, goed voor een totaalbeleving die de grenzen van live elektronische muziek verlegt.
Na drie jaar de wereld rond te toeren en iconische locaties te veroveren, waaronder de Orange Vélodrome in Marseille en binnenkort Stade de France in Parijs, is dit een van de laatste kansen om de show in zijn volledigheid te beleven. Deze keer in het unieke decor van de Belgische kust, waarbij het strand van Zeebrugge wordt omgetoverd tot een ware openluchtarena.

On The Beach is een live-eventconcept op het strand van Zeebrugge, met de Noordzee als uniek decor. De eerste, volledig uitverkochte editie, vond plaats op 10 augustus 2025. Toen zakten 20.000 bezoekers af naar het strand voor een exclusieve B2B-set van KI/KI en Marlon Hoffstadt.
Met de komst van David Guetta in de zomer van 2026 is On The Beach klaar voor het volgende hoofstuk: elektronische muziek van wereldklasse naar Zeebrugge brengen, met behoud van de open en verbindende sfeer die het debuut typeerde.

De Canadese progressieve metalsensatie en drievoudig Grammy-genomineerde Spiritbox brengt haar 'Tsunami Sea UK + EU Tour' naar België! Even voorstellen - The Wave Pictures – Gained / Lost
Ze brengen op 27 februari een nieuwe LP uit, genaamd Gained / Lost. Het album combineert klassieke songwriting en krachtig samenspel met invloeden uit 60's garage rock, 70's classic rock en 90's indie - allemaal doordrenkt met de DIY-mentaliteit die de band al bijna dertig jaar kenmerkt. Hun grootste drijfveer in al deze jaren blijft het plezier in met elkaar spelen.
Met dit album belichten ze het alledaagse met een nostalgisch en warm gevoel. Frontman Tattersalls teksten komen binnen als ansichtkaarten van herinneringen en dromen, waarin hij deze beschrijft als kind, als oudere en als observator vanuit het raam van de buren. Deze verhalende manier van schrijven komt niet alleen terug in teksten, maar ook in de intuïtieve emoties die hij in zijn gitaarspel weet te leggen.

Re-shaping their perception, Kettering 4-piece Temples today make their emphatic return with brand new studio album BLISS - out June 26th on V2 Records - and one that flies in new electronic directions, while staying true to their core DNA, making it their most adventurous and liberated record to date.
First new offering comes in the shape of the supreme 'Jet Stream Heart': a song about being seduced by music, built to mirror the physical sensation of standing in front of club speakers as hypnotic beats pull you in. Its fusion of psych-tinged riffs and club-ready pulse introduces the album's central idea: dance music reinterpreted through Temples' distinctive lens..
"'Jet Stream Heart' explores the feeling of being seduced by music, being pulled into a sonic jet stream and having to give in to the magnetic feeling of certain music", the band detail. "The feeling of music in a club is visceral - almost like you're directly wired into the song. This song blurs genres and the line between what's a synth and what's a guitar/bass, using home made fuzz pedals and odd studio gear to create anything but conservative sounds. We're always striving to make a bold sonic statement."
The album marks an exciting new chapter following 2023's Exotico, and sees the band -James Bagshaw (vocals/guitar), Thomas Walmsley (bass), Adam Smith (keys/guitar) & Rens Ottink (drums) - reimagine their psych-rock roots through the prism of late '90s and early 2000s dance music, drawing on the euphoric melancholy of the Ibiza scene and European electronica while staying true to the band's core DNA. Influenced by the emotional pull of artists like Faithless, Underworld, Massive Attack and Portishead, BLISS taps into what Temples describe as "melancholic euphoria" - simple structures giving rise to complex feeling.
Where on Exotico, the band worked with guest producer Sean Ono Lennon, this time it felt like BLISS could only be produced by Temples themselves, embracing a more instinctive, hands-on approach. Working together in the same room, they leaned into improvisation and experimentation, using samplers not to rework other artists' material, but to manipulate and reassemble their own songs into a shared sonic palette. The result is an album that feels collage-like and interconnected, with motifs and textures flowing across tracks.
Across BLISS, tracks explore themes of disconnection, frustration, surrender and renewal. As well as 'Jet Stream Heart', there is the dazzling dart of 'Vendetta', which perfectly marries scuzzy riffs with lasering synths and a bubbling dance melody. 'Blue Flame' arrives slower, steadier and packed with a gently fizzing chorus that tackles disconnection at its core and the growing divide between each other. 'Revelations' nods to the Gregorian chant that was commonly deployed in late '90s and early '00s European dance music with its own take, and then there is the crunching stomp of 'Megalith', that deals with frustrations. "It's about finding your inner stillness, but then having found that stillness, maybe it's not so pleasant," says keyboardist & guitarist Adam Smith. "You can sometimes feel helpless and stuck when the world is moving around you, and you feel like a standing stone – like a megalith – and there's nothing you can do about it."
For Temples, BLISS is more than just a stylistic shift - it's a statement of intent. A record made without compromise, driven by instinct, chemistry and the joy of making music together again.
As the band put it, "it's about permission: to let go, to move, and to become something unexpected."

De band met Guillaume Lamont, Tim Leyman, Dajo Vlaeminckx en Victor Defoort (RHEA, Alice Mae, Ramkot, Kids With Buns, Romeo Elvis, Tamino, J. Bernard…) nam even de tijd om aan nieuwe muziek te werken en presenteert nu hun nieuwe single: Don’t Wanna Dance Anymore.
Geproduceerd door Mario Goossens vond Hideous een nieuw geluid en klinkt de band relevanter dan ooit. Eerder stond de band al op festivals als Rock Werchter en Rock Herk, waarmee ze hun plaats binnen de Belgische muziekscene bevestigden.
Het nummer gaat over uitputting en vervreemding: over afstand nemen van de rol van ‘dansende nar’ in een maatschappij die steeds verzuurder en extremer wordt.
In de tussentijd bleven de bandleden actief in andere projecten en werd bassist Victor Defoort bekroond met een MIA voor Beste Muzikant.

Tom Jenkinson, aka Squarepusher, presents Kammerkonzert, a riot of onyx-hard, hyperfast riffs, fiendish orchestral themes and handbrake turns through varieties of progressive, ambient, electronic and experimental music. Squarepusher, the singular hardcore rave/electronic producer, experimental musician and creator of futuristic forms of fusion, has a three-decade-long back catalogue studded with jewel-like records. From the furious breakbeat acid and pulverising live bass-guitar attack of Feed Me Weird Things (1996) to the self-explanatory Music for Robots (2014)via the virtuosic live showcase of Solo Electric Bass 1 (2009) and the luxurious and otherworldly concrète jazz of Ultravisitor (2004), few contemporary musicians have covered as much ground in as sure-footed a manner. Given that his dazzling new album for Warp is essentially a chamber concerto with Jenkinson playing all of the parts, it's safe to say he has come a long way since Port Rhombus EP, his crystalline drum & bass debut for the label in 1996.
Kammerkonzert displays Jenkinson's strength not only as a producer but as a composer, shown by the album's mercurial juxtapositions which can fleetingly remind the listener of the visionary French Zeuhl band Magma 9 ('K1 Advance'), the liquid fusion of Weather Report in their Body Electric phase ('K2 Central'), and the baroque blood-drenched giallo soundtracks of Ennio Morricone ('K7 Museum'). Elsewhere the more contemporary north London jazz riffing of Sons of Kemet ('K3 Diligence'), the ring-modulated piano of Stockhausen's Mantra and even the atmosphere of Brian Eno's ambient work with David Bowie ('K11 Tideway') all make themselves felt.
Kammerkonzert – whose tough-sounding name reflects the sonic militancy of the music it presents, while literally meaning chamber concert in German – pushes mischievously inward at the extreme boundaries of music composition itself.

Vier donderdagen op rij kan je op Helden in het Park terecht voor onvergetelijke gratis concerten. Elke avond zorgen twee (inter)nationale topbands voor fantastische optredens op de main stage aan het kasteel.

twee ervaren muziekhuizen aan weerszijden van de Nederlands-Belgische grens.
Muziekclub N9 en De Spot (Middelburg) slaan twee jaar lang de handen in elkaar om samen
en grensoverschrijdend acht concertavonden op poten te zetten. Zowel Nederlandse als
Belgische bands, jong bloed en gevestigd muzikaal talent worden tijdelijk weggeroofd uit hun
land van oorsprong, om er vervolgens over de landsgrens voor de leeuwen te worden gegooid!
