Sdban records news - Even voorstellen - ECHT! - Boilerism Remixes, rebuilt for the dancefloor
Release: March 13, 2026
ECHT! have long operated in that rare sweet spot where sweat-soaked live energy meets forward-leaning electronic instrumentation. It's often impossible to pinpoint exactly which instrument is responsible for which layer of the music, but that's precisely where the magic lies. The band have built a reputation for tracks that hit as if they were made for a club sound system, without losing the sharpness and immediate impact of a live act. Through these remixes of their most recent album, they carry that momentum forward and push their sound even deeper into club and DJ territory.
Rather than simply repackaging tracks from Boilerism, this release invites a carefully selected group of producers to dissect ECHT!'s DNA and rebuild it from the inside out. Seasoned veterans like Fracture and Nymfo leave their own imprint on the material, while Jana Rush, Yheti and Zohar reinterpret the band's sound through different lenses of rhythm and texture.
That's what makes this new EP feel like a dialogue. The new material doesn't rewrite the originals, but engages with them: certain elements are amplified, others are rerouted, and suddenly new angles emerge in the architecture of the tracks. As the band set their sights on 2026, Boilerism Remixes puts the 2025 material to the test against new tempos and sounds, with downright thrilling results.
Three years after their debut album Inwane, followed by records Sink-Along (2023) and Boilerism (2025), ECHT! continue to steadily gain ground. Their music has earned praise from outlets such as Mixmag, DJ Mag and Tsugi, while receiving support from influential DJs including Lefto, Gilles Peterson and Jamz Supernova on BBC Radio 6. On stage, ECHT! have since played iconic venues such as Jazz Café (London), AB (Brussels), Melkweg and Paradiso (Amsterdam), and Gretchen (Berlin). Their most recent tours have taken them over 14 countries, including Glastonbury (UK), Mexico and India.

ECHT!
Since 2017, ECHT! has been igniting stages across Europe, from Nuits Sonores, Lowlands, and Dour Festival to iconic venues like Brussels' Ancienne Belgique and London's Jazz Café. The Brussels-based quartet thrives on precision and chemistry: four minds and eight hands working as one. Their instrumental music raises more questions than it answers, pulling listeners into hypnotic, trance-like states where rhythm and melody merge, making individual instruments almost unrecognizable.
After their groundbreaking debut EP Douf (2019) and acclaimed albums INWANE (2021) and Sink-Along (2023), ECHT! is back with their most daring release yet: Boilerism. On this new record, they push beyond their signature bass-heavy sound, exploring faster tempos and embracing genres like acid, drum'n'bass, footwork, and UK garage. While the grooves hit harder and the rhythms get more mechanical, their flair for the unpredictable remains, with tracks that twist, turn, and surprise at every moment.
Boilerism was both a celebration and a reinvention, an ode to club culture, to the energy of live music, and to the thrill of experimentation. To fully close this chapter, ECHT! will release a remix EP on March 13, extending the album's club-driven vision all the way to the dancefloor.
