Le dernier opus solo de Ben Harper remonte à 2006. Il s’intitulait « Both Sides of the Gun ». Il nous revient donc en solitaire (NDR : enfin pas tout à fait, puisque son groupe Relentless7 a également participé aux sessions) pour un elpee enregistré à Los Angeles dans les studios de Jackson Browne, qui a d'ailleurs contribué à sa confection. Ringo Starr y coécrit deux chansons : "Spilling Faith" et "Get There From Here". Le titre de cet opus? “Give It 'Till It's Gone”.
