London/Hackney-born singer-songwriter Bertie Newman returns with his new single "between the pines", released via V2 Records.

A warm and reflective step into a new chapter, "between the pines" explores the feeling of yearning for a relationship that hasn't arrived yet — imagining what love could look like and the possibilities that come with it. Written during a period when Bertie found himself longing for a deeper romantic connection, the track captures the space between imagination and reality, where the idea of a future relationship can feel almost as vivid as the real thing.

"I was definitely yearning romantically at that time," Bertie explains. "I had this imagination of all the possibilities that could be at some point."

Sonically, "between the pines" sits comfortably within Bertie's tender indie-folk world, pairing understated acoustic textures with his intimate vocal delivery. With echoes of Noah Kahan and early Hozier, the track carries a sense of warmth and openness while retaining the subtle, emotionally direct songwriting that has become central to Bertie's music.

The single follows Bertie's recent five-track EP my dear, porcelain, a deeply personal project exploring grief, growth and acceptance following the loss of a close friend. While the EP looked inward at loss and healing, "between the pines" represents a shift towards possibility — a song about looking forward and imagining what might still be waiting around the corner.

Bertie's ability to turn personal experiences into intimate, relatable songwriting has already earned him a growing international audience. His breakout track "Seaside Eyes" has surpassed 10 million streams.

Björk Orkestral with the Hamrahlíð Choir,  the extraordinary concert experience recorded at Reykjavík's Harpa Concert Hall on 24 October 2021,  will receive its world wide physical release on 27 November 2026.

More than a live recording, Björk Orkestral with the Hamrahlíð Choir captures a meeting between one of Iceland's most singular musical voices and one of its most important choral institutions. Across an expansive reimagining of Björk's catalogue, choral arrangements, electronics and her own voice are brought together to reveal familiar songs in unfamiliar forms, sometimes monumental, sometimes fragile, always deeply physical.

i am so happy and proud of this concert .. we all put enormous love , energy and time into it . i have learned slowly through the years , about the juxtaposition of voices and the electronic ... for me it is a philosophical matter , how nature and technology can coexist amicably . i got an opportunity to learn how to get this balance just right , through extensive rehearsals in the space we got in covid . it is often easier for me to do this on the recordings , but here we did it physically live . and i could tweak older songs that i felt i hadn´t acquired experience yet how to perform live . i am grateful to bergur þórisson , þorgerður ingólfsdóttir and the hamrahlíð choir for their generousity and this experience .

The concert was recorded as part of Björk's series of Orkestral performances at Harpa in 2021, a project conceived around the idea of returning to her music through orchestration rather than spectacle. Stripped back from the elaborate visual worlds of her larger productions, these performances placed the architecture of the songs themselves centre stage: strings, winds, choir, electronics and voice interacting as one living organism.

At the heart of this particular performance is Hamrahlíðarkórinn, the Hamrahlíð Choir, conducted by its legendary founder Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir, whose relationship with Björk has grown into one of the most significant creative collaborations in her recent work. Some of the arrangements were performed by this choir in the recordings, but this live performance also includes other song originally written for other voice-ensembles or instruments from Björk's catalogue. Their voices bring a different physicality to songs, music that moves between the intimate and the immense

The repertoire draws primarily from the vocal world of Medúlla (2004) and explores the possibilities of the human voice, nature, technology and new forms of musical collaboration. Heard together in this setting, the songs form a kind of alternate history of Björk's work: compositions continuously being dismantled, re-orchestrated and rebuilt through new combinations of breath, bodies, electronics and space.

The performance also carries the particular atmosphere of its time. Recorded in Reykjavíkin October 2021, as live music and collective gatherings were slowly returning after the profound disruption of the COVID-19 pandemic, the concert brought together musicians and voices at a moment when the simple act of singing together had acquired an extraordinary significance. Across Björk's four Orkestral concerts at Harpa, more than 100 Icelandic musicians took part, making the series not only a celebration of her catalogue but a portrait of the breadth and depth of Iceland's musical community.

The proceeds from the original concert series supported Kvennaathvarfið, a women's shelter in Reykjavík.
For Björk, theHamrahlíð Choir collaboration has become an ongoing musical relationship rather than a one-off encounter. Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir and the choir first joined Björk on Body Memory, from 2017's Utopia, before becoming an integral part of the Cornucopia live world. The choir appeared at the original Cornucopia performances at The Shedin New York in 2019, followed by the European tour and the filming of Cornucopiain Lisbon.

The collaboration continues to evolve. Most recently, members of the choir contributed to Sorrowful Soil, part of Björk's immersive installation at the National Gallery of Iceland, demonstrating a creative relationship that continues to move fluidly between recorded music, live performance, visual art and installation.

With Björk Orkestral with the Hamrahlíð Choir, songs that have travelled through decades of Björk's musical language are heard anew, not as replicas of their recorded originals, but as compositions still capable of changing shape. The result is a document of Icelandic musicianship, a celebration of the voice and a rare glimpse into the emotional architecture of Björk's music when the spectacle falls away and the music itself takes centre stage.

THE HAMRAHLÍÐ CHOIR
The Hamrahlíð Choir has been at the forefront of Icelandic musical life for more than half a century. Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir formed the Hamrahlíð Choir in 1982 and she has been its conductor ever since. The Hamrahlíð Choir is an ensemble made up of graduates of the hamrahlíð college choir which þorgerður established in 1967.
Around 3000 Icelandic teenagers have come into contact with classical music through the Hamrahlíð choral experience. Many of these had no prior musical training, but through diligent practice they have gone on to participate in music-making of the highest quality, from new Icelandic compositions to the choral masterworks of Bach, Beethoven and Mozart.
The Hamrahlíð College Choir has been a breeding ground for many of Iceland's leading singers, instrumentalists and composers. among the many musicians who are former members of the choir are pianist Víkingur Ólafsson, composer Bára Gísladóttir, composer Haukur Tómasson, musicologist Árni Heimir Ingólfsson, baritone Ólafur Kjartan Sigurðarson, bass Kristinn Sigmundsson and Björk herself.  
Although the Hamrahlíð College Choir was primarily devoted to musical education, it has from the very beginning been dedicated to giving performances of the highest quality. Critics of the performances, of both the Hamrahlíð choir and the Hamrahlíð College Choir, throughout the world have praised its accurate intonation, clear diction and the high level of enthusiasm and commitment that are among the hallmarks of the choir's music-making.  

Throughout its history, both choirs have collaborated closely with Icelandic composers. over 100 works have been composed especially for the choirs, including works by virtually all of Iceland's leading composers. Apart from its close association with native composers, the choirs have collaborated with foreign artists such as Arvo pärt and John Cage. Arvo Pärt was so impressed with the choir's performance of his Te Deum in 1998 that he composed a choral work dedicated to Þorgerður Ingólfsdóttir, ...which was the son of..., which was premièred in 2000.

The Hamrahlíð Choir sings with a pure, flexible, well-blended sound, and it performs with exuberance and a youthful sense of discovery. With its dedication, passion, and spirit, the hamrahlíð choir has touched audiences around the world. The choir has travelled to 27 countries and has performed at many of the world's leading choral festivals to great acclaim, introducing audiences around the world to the rich legacy of Icelandic choral music.

The choir has participated in festivals in Europe, North America, and Asia, and collaborated with renowned conductors such as Tõnu Kaljuste, Osmo Vänskä, Lukas Foss and Thomas Adés. The choir has been a member of the European Federation of young choirs since 1978, and is one of the founding members of the International Federation for choral music.

Jung Ang zoekt zijn eigen wereld op met ‘Intercom Master’

Met Intercom Master bouwt Jung Ang verder aan een eigen muzikale wereld, waarin dromerige synths, autotune-vocals en catchy melodieën samenkomen. De EP klinkt melancholisch en speels tegelijk en haalt inspiratie uit de digitale wereld, nostalgie en persoonlijke ervaringen.

Op de EP vloeien herinneringen en het online leven in elkaar over. De elektronische producties geven de nummers een dromerig karakter, terwijl de vocals en melodieën voor een toegankelijk en herkenbaar geluid zorgen. Jung Ang creëert zo een wereld die tegelijk vertrouwd en een beetje vervreemdend aanvoelt.

Op zaterdag 24 oktober stelt Jung Ang zijn muziek voor tijdens Metropolis 2126 in Arenberg in Antwerpen. Het evenement brengt theater, muziek en kunst samen en vormt het decor voor zijn eerste liveshow.

Spectral singer-songwriter Mynolia releases 'Holy Line', an elemental and serene new single, along with the announcement of her upcoming new album 'Salt Around My Bed', out 15th January 2027 via Full Time Hobby.

New single 'Holy Line' captures the blurring of fantasy and real life, with distinctions dissolving, leaving a hazy, dreamlike environment to explore. The single is accompanied by a live performance video of the song, recorded at Berlin's Schiller Theatre. Its soft, pillowy soundscape wraps around and pulls everything into a trance-like atmosphere, grounded by Mynolia's striking vocals.

On the single Mynolia has said. "This song emerged almost fully from a vivid, bittersweet dream. It's disorienting when there is no discernible distinction between the dream memory and a real-life memory. 'Holy Line' is about reuniting with something you'd never really had, or had all along but didn't know it. The album's title, Salt Around My Bed, comes from the second verse: 'draw circles on my back in the new just like the old, salt around my bed, hoping you'd come along'. For me, the intention and magic was set in the dream, which made that threshold, or holy line, even blurrier."

After years spent in constant motion and relocation, Mynolia found a sense of stillness, settling in Berlin for her first adult years. She then made the decision to embark on a new beginning, landing in the remote wilderness of America's South, where she has drawn on those curative breaths and brought forth her most transformative work to date.

Spending her days learning the land and tapping into the unhurried sounds around her, 'Salt Around My Bed' gives warn-in instruments new life, and molds difficult lessons and fresh wisdoms into hypnotic synths and lush vocals. The fluidity of what 'home' means for Mynolia, is reflected in the songs; a sense of arresting vulnerability is constantly met with an unwavering resilience that comes from a lifetime of experience. She also found herself tuning into the mundane magic unfurling all around, making friends with her superstitions and recognizing the holiness in even the humblest of tasks. The burning of pictures, the scattering of salt, the crushing of eggshells for the garden - Mynolia conducts each ritual with equal care throughout the album, understanding the power we all hold within.

Speaking on the album Mynolia shares:
"My mind is a seesaw in pursuit of balance, but most of the time it's the not thinking that makes things snap into focus, the laughing that deepens the capacity for emotion and temperance that actually lays the foundation for change, both personal and collective."

She brought the almost finished project to the celebrated ambient jazz instrumentalist Rich Ruth, and with the help of musicians and friends from around the world, they fleshed out the final vision. Pete Pételle and Florian Holoubek have added drums and percussion, Full Time Hobby label-mate Spencer Cullum provided pedal steel, with Corin Droullard on horns. Violin and mandolin were courtesy of Patrick McGonigle, with Sam Que on flute. Co-producer Rich Ruth also brought synths, guitar and bass. Mynolia's friend Taylor Wafford (Blood Root) provided backing vocals, and her husband Charles Michael Parks Jr. (of the band All Them Witches) played bass.

The success of Mynolia's first release from the single 'Run Like Hell', drew critical attention from the likes of Clash who called it an "alt-folk hymnal shrouded in magic. Hushed tones reminiscent of Jessica Pratt or Vashti Bunyan"; and The Most Radicalist calling Mynolia's sound "ethereal and otherworldly" and "folky and evocative".

Mynolia is committed to defending this latest chapter, scattering a protective circle around all she has gathered, leaned into, and let go of in recent years, but on Salt Around My Bed, there's space for you to join and welcome peace alongside her.

CMON CMON en het productieteam verbleven een week lang in de Hoge Venen voor opnames in de GAM Studios in La Chapelle (Waimes). De sessies vonden plaats slechts enkele maanden voordat een verwoestende brand het natuurgebied in de as legde.

De nieuwe single werd gemixt in de JBJ Studio in Londen door Jamie Brown die eerder o.m. met Primal Scream, The 1975 en Bloxx werkte.

CMON CMON keert terug met een geweldige mix van powerpopmelodieën, harmonieën en dynamiek. Stap voor stap breidt de band zijn discografie uit door klassieke songwriting en boeiende teksten te combineren met de rauwe energie die zo kenmerkend is voor powerpop; ze vinden de perfecte balans tussen popmelodieën en rockritmes en leveren keer op keer pakkende, radiovriendelijke nummers af.

Jorrit Hermans, zanger en gitarist van CMON CMON, legt uit: "New England In Fall is tot nu toe ons meest 'november-achtige' nummer. Ik probeer vrolijke nummers te schrijven, maar dat lukt me nooit helemaal. Het klinkt aangenaam in het gehoor, maar het is verdomd zwaar voor de ziel."

Sinds de release van hun verrassende debuutalbum ‘The Crack and The Light’ (geproducet door Alex Newport) in 2023 en de EP ‘Headwind’ uit 2025, bewandelt CMON CMON een indiepad waarbij oprechte, persoonlijke verhalen in muziekvorm centraal staan. 

Deze muzikale reis leidde ertoe dat ze het voorprogramma verzorgden van de uit Boston afkomstige postrock-/indieband The Sheila Divine tijdens hun comebacktournee in 2025.

In Amerika werden hun vorige singles gedraaid op meer dan 40 college radios.

‘New England In Fall’ is de eerste single die CMON CMON heeft afgewerkt na de opnames in La Chapelle.  Het artwork is ontworpen door de Belgische ontwerpster Lisa Van de Vyver, met foto's voor de hoes van de Belgische fotograaf Peter M. Hoste.

Dat is een exclusieve, intieme hardlooptocht van 5 km voor 50 tot 100 fans langs iconische locaties in Amsterdam (de Dam, de Magere Brug, het Rijksmuseum), met start en finish bij de Tomorrowland expositie op het Amsterdam Dance Event.
Na afloop spelen Henri PFR en Carston een pop-up optreden.

Als vriend en icoon Raymond van het Groenewoud met natte ogen je plaat moet pauzeren wegens "te aangeslagen" om onmiddellijk naar de volgende track te luisteren, dan weet je het al. Als Geike Arnaert, gevraagd welke song ze op je première wil zingen, meteen reikt naar ‘Families Met Een Barst’, omdat het haar "koude rillingen" geeft, dan ook.

Maar Jonas Winterland had geen buitenstaander nodig om te weten welk lied van zijn nieuwe plaat eeuwigheidswaarde in zich draagt. Dat voelde hij al toen ‘Families met een barst’ op een zomeravond in één keer naar buiten gulpte. Hij dacht dat zijn comebackplaat al lang klaar was, maar blijkbaar moest er toch nog één iets gezegd worden.

‘Families Met Een Barst’ is een rauwe, brutaal eerlijke song over gebroken families. In de studio werd het lied vastgelegd als een ‘happy acccident’: je hoort Jonas Winterland een eerste keer meezingen terwijl gitarist Geert Hellings zijn gitaarpartij uitzoekt. Dat moment vond producer Nicolas Rombouts zo puur dat enkel jazzpianist Hendrik Lasure er later nog wat verdwaalde pianonoten aan mocht toevoegen. Nu al een vaderlandse klassieker.
'Families Met Een Barst is de vierde vooruitgeschoven track van het eind oktober te verschijnen full album ‘Nieuwe Planeten Om Thuis Te Komen’. Het is een tijdloze songwriterplaat waarin Jonas Winterland zijn invloeden - EELS, Bonnie 'Prince' Billy, Spinvis, Wilco- rijkelijk in doorschemeren. Soms klinkt de muziek volledig uitgepuurd, soms prettig rammelrockend. Nergens zit de productie de haarfijne teksten in de weg.

Met vier full albums, anderhalf miljoen streams, een MIA-nominatie en fans als Raymond Van het Groenewoud en Tom Barman bouwt Jonas Winterland sinds 2013 een trouw publiek op voor zijn poëtische teksten en klassiekers als ‘Mensen Zijn Gemaakt Van Dun Papier’. Eind oktober komt daar dus een vijfde album bij, maar geniet nu alvast van de nieuwe track 'Families Met Een Barst' en de eerder verschenen singles 'Goud In De Rivier',  'Kosmonaut' en 'Regenmaker'.

De videoclip van 'Regenmaker' is een samenwerking met gevierd acteur-theaterschrijver Peter De Graef (winnaar Louis D'Or), van wiens werk Jonas al jarenlang grote fan is.

'Goud In De Rivier' is dan weer een beklijvende ode aan vergane vriendschappen en een samenwerking met goede vriend Jente Pironet, frontman en songschrijver van Portland. De twee leerden elkaar enkele jaren geleden kennen door wederzijdse bewondering en een gedeelde adoratie voor Bob Dylan. Pironet en Winterland zingen ‘Goud In De Rivier’ naar een hartverscheurend hoogtepunt, laverend tussen hypnotiserende elektronica en alsmaar nerveuzere gitaren. Het is de perfecte openingstrack voor de plaat omdat de track meteen de juiste sfeer zet en illustreert wat het opzet van het nieuwe album was: de korrelige, eigenzinnige productie van Nicolas Rombouts koppelen aan de classic songwriting van taalvirtuoos Jonas Winterland.

Een hijgende roedel veelvraten sleurt je mee op een zweterige queeste naar méér. De broers Michiel en Kris D'Haeze vormen het kloppende hart van de band. Michiel met zijn breekbare, karaktervolle stem en Kris met zijn saxofoon die zowel scheurt als streelt. Aangejaagd door een trio topmuzikanten dendert Gulo Gang als een ronkende tripmachine vooruit, vol noisy gitaren, subtiele synths en melancholische harmonieën. Ze veranderen elk podium in een zinderend plonsbad, met echo's van King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard, Fat Dog en Viagra Boys.

Hun opkomende EP 'Favourite Enemy' (release 5 feb 2027) draagt de strepen van de uitgestorven Tasmaanse tijger: een teken van het wilde, het instinctieve en het ongetemde dat botst met de onverzadigbare mens. Die spanning sijpelt door in de muziek. Geen vulling, geen kopie, alleen rauwe live-energie die zelfs het stugste publiek ontdooit.

Over het artwork: een landelijk tafereel met een haar in de boter. Een jager zit stilzwijgend in gedachten verzonken. Welke driften brachten hem hier? Een song over machtsverhouding en rolverwarring.

" 'Gulo' betekent veelvraat, en gulzigheid vormt een terugkerend thema in onze nummers - ook op de nieuwe EP. De plaat vertelt een soort villain origin story: de evolutie van een naïef, getraumatiseerd kind naar een onverzadigbaar slecht mens. Het gaat over hoe tegenslagen iemand het geduld doen verliezen, en hoe de zoektocht naar snelle voldoening morele grenzen langzaam doet vervagen."
Voor het artwork en de promo video's lieten we ons inspireren door de buidelwolf, een dier dat door menselijk toedoen uitgeroeid werd. Het beeld van jager en prooi - met de typerende buidelwolfstrepen - loopt als een rode draad doorheen onze visuals en video's."

- 'Lexus' : zwaar, dreigend en tegelijk onweerstaanbaar mooi -
Een donkere ballade over de schaduwzijde van de liefde. 'Lexus' laat de gitaren wat meer op de achtergrond en geeft de vocals en lyrics alle ruimte om het verhaal te dragen. De song ademt de sfeer van een rouwstoet die langzaam voorbij trekt: zwaar, dreigend en tegelijk onweerstaanbaar mooi.
Naarmate het nummer vordert, stapelt de spanning zich laag na laag op, tot alles samenkomt in een cathartische finale die nog even blijft nazinderen.

Live heeft de band intussen een stevige reputatie opgebouwd. Hun unieke sound, met de saxofoon als een van de absolute blikvangers, geeft hen ook op het podium een heel eigen smoel. De voorbije jaren brachten ze die naar podia in zowel België als Nederland, van festivals en clubs tot het kleinere muziekcafécircuit.

Zo stonden ze onder meer op Suikerrock, Leffingeleuren, Dioniss Festival, Zappafest, Festival Achterhof, Moment Festival, Rock Earthfield en De Vesten. Ook clubs en cultuurhuizen als 4AD, De Effenaar in Eindhoven, Charlatan, Trefpunt, Zapoi, Kinky Star en CC De Ververij stonden al op hun palmares. Daarnaast speelden ze in muziekcafés als Cabron, Ringo, Villa Anama, Bazaar en 't Hof in Nederland.

Zaterdag 12 september kon je in Ronse Gulo Gang live aan het werk zien in CC De Ververij tijdens 'The Valley Sessions'.
Vrijdag 19 februari stelt het vijftal hun nieuwe EP live voor in Trefpunt (Gent).

2021 | De Mutatie
Het verhaal van Gulo Gang begint met een radicale, artistieke breuk met het verleden. Uit de as van de rockabilly-formatie Mudcookies ontstaat in 2021 een compleet nieuwe identiteit. Alsof het een DNA-mutatie betreft, wordt de contrabas ritueel verbrand en de Elvis kuif definitief afgeschoren. De band kiest resoluut voor een donkerder en rauwer geluid. De focus verschuift naar bezwerende zang en een prominente, snijdende saxofoon: de basis van de unieke Gulo sound is gelegd.
2023 | Eerste Wapenfeiten
Deze nieuwe creatieve koers krijgt al snel vorm in de studio. Oude nummers worden genadeloos ontleed en samen met nieuw materiaal in studio La Patrie, onder leiding van producer Ian Clement (Wallace Vanborn), omgevormd tot de debuut-EP Ballad of a Grim Man. De sound balanceert nog tussen verleden en toekomst, maar de gelijknamige single slaat meteen aan en toont de ware potentie. Vlak na de opnames maakt een vijfde multi-instrumentalist de formatie compleet. Een onmisbare stap, want hij brengt de gelaagdheid mee die het hedendaagse geluid zal typeren. Het officiële startschot van de band volgt op 8 december 2023, wanneer ze de EP loslaten op een uitverkocht Trefpunt in Gent.
2024 | EP op de schouder
Gewapend met hun debuut-EP trekt de band in 2024 op tournee om zich te meten met het grote publiek. Gulo Gang schuimt de clubs en cafés van Vlaanderen en Nederland af en smeedt daar een ijzersterke underground reputatie. De energieke liveshows bewijzen dat hun muzikale experiment ook op het podium staat als een huis. Die eigenzinnige sound blijft niet onopgemerkt en de band landt voor het eerst op de radiogolven met airplay op Urgent.fm en RBS.
2025 | Vi.be Winst & Grote Supports
In 2025 schakelt de band een versnelling hoger.  Hun livereputatie wordt bezegeld met opeenvolgende overwinningen op VI.BE, wat hen felbegeerde spots oplevert op grote festivalpodia zoals Suikerrock en Leffingeleuren. Ook internationaal smaakt het naar meer; Gulo Gang mag tweemaal het voorprogramma verzorgen van het Amerikaanse Frankie and the Witch Fingers (4AD en De Effenaar) en het Franse Karkara.
De kersverse live-single Flip A Coin, zal het beruchte karakter van de band nogmaals onderstrepen. Niemand minder dan Stijn Meuris pikt de track op en draait hem tweemaal in zijn programma Meurissey op Radio Willy. Kort daarna valt Meuris als een blok voor de band en neemt hij ook hun eerdere single High Tide mee op in de ether.
2026 | Studio La Patrie en De Stilte voor de Storm
Na een intens jaar van schrijven is de band volledig naar haar eigen core sound toegegroeid. In februari 2026 duikt Gulo Gang opnieuw studio La Patrie in om die identiteit definitief vast te leggen. Ditmaal klopt de band aan bij topproducer Koen Gisen (Meskerem Mees, Dans Dans, Bony King of Nowhere). Het resultaat is de tweede EP: Favourite Enemy. De sound is geraffineerder en grijpt de luisteraar direct bij de keel, dit is Gulo Gang in haar puurste vorm.
Met de support van L&S Agency op zak en een gerijpte, ijzersterke nieuwe plaat onder de arm, staat Gulo Gang volledig opgeladen aan de start.  Klaar om in 2027 radiogolf en festivalplein definitief te veroveren.

FELT SO FINE

Op 15 januari 2027 verschijnt 'Intuition', de langverwachte nieuwe EP van And Then Came Fall. Zangeres en songwriter Annelies Tanghe en producer Sam Pieter Janssens omarmen op deze plaat de ultieme artistieke vrijheid: geen deadlines, geen druk, maar vijf ijzersterke songs die simpelweg mogen zijn wat ze zijn.  Gevoed door de recente hommagetour 'The Carole King Songbook' trekt het duo voluit de kaart van ambachtelijke songwriting, gedreven door piano. 'Intuition' ademt als één organisch geheel, mede dankzij het vakmanschap van de band - Eva Hautekiet op toetsen en zang, Mathias Moors op bas, Steven Van Gelder op drums - en de vertrouwde productie van Sam Pieter Janssens.

Als eerste gulle voorbode verschijnt op donderdag 15 oktober 2026 – te midden van de herfst – de single 'Felt So Fine'. De track zet de toon voor de EP en toont een verrassende muzikale evolutie richting hedendaagse Britse soul à la Raye, Olivia Dean, … 

Gedragen door een groovy walking bass, rijke koortjes en een lijmende piano, neemt het nummer je mee naar de herinnering van een intense, passionele liefde. Zo eentje die je wil vastleggen op de film van je geheugen om het telkens opnieuw te kunnen herbeleven.  Een snijdende gitaarsolo breekt de song halverwege open en laat zien wat de luisteraar op de volledige EP mag verwachten: muziek met échte ademruimte.

Met de etherische zang van Annelies Tanghe en het instrumentale vakmanschap van multi-instrumentalist en producer Sam Pieter Janssens, bewijst het Belgische indie-folkduo And Then Came Fall zich als een van de mooiste muzikale acts die het land de afgelopen jaren heeft voortgebracht. Gedreven door warme, verfijnde songwriting maken zij tijdloze muziek die rechtstreeks binnenkomt in het hart van de ware muziekliefhebber.

Vanaf het prille begin omringt het duo zich consistent met muzikale uitmuntendheid. Hun debuutalbum (2018) werd opgenomen met de veelgeprezen producer Koen Gisen, met vocale bijdragen van An Pierlé en een opvallend duet met Pieter Van Dessel (Marble Sounds). Dit succes kreeg een vervolg met enkele ijzersterke radiosingles ('Chasing The Sun', 'Please don't Disappear') en in 2023 hun tweede album, T'he Art Of Love', geproducet door David Poltrock. Hun onmiskenbare internationale potentieel bereikte een hoogtepunt met de single 'Out Of This', in New York geproduceerd door Mark Plati (David Bowie) en verrijkt met de stem van Golden Globe-winnaar Michael C. Hall.

Na een jaar van intense focus, puur varend op hun eigen creatieve kompas, keert het duo nu terug met hun meest persoonlijke werk tot nu toe: de komende EP 'Intuition' (2027). Door de volledige controle over zowel de songwriting als de productie in eigen hand te nemen, en gesteund door hun vertrouwde kring van muzikanten, brengt 'Intuition' een intiem, organisch geluid waarin hun pure, ongefilterde artisticiteit centraal staat.

Ook live is And Then Came Fall een ijzersterke act. Ze deelden het podium al met internationale grootheden als Joan As Police Woman, Sarah Blasko en Thomas Dybdahl. Recent nog betoverden ze de theaterzalen met hun alom geprezen en succesvolle tournee 'The Carole King Songbook'.
