THE RADAR STATION
Share New EP with acoustic versions "Songs for the Half-Light"

20 november -Live @ De Amer - Amen (NL)
21 november - Live @ Cultuurcafé Lucienne - Lint (BE)

Now the melancholic indie rockers of The Radar Station release their third EP of 2026. "Songs for the Half-Light" is an EP featuring four unique acoustic versions of songs from the second album, "Birds of Choice". But it is much more than that: the EP heralds a new direction for The Radar Station.

They sound more fragile, more authentic and more intimate, leaving more room to breathe for the warm timbre of Brent Buckler's voice. Their sound as a band has been distilled to its essence: melancholic and mesmerizing.

With the talented Benjamin Hermans on bass clarinet and baritone sax, regulars Robbe Broeckx (drums) and Toon Rumen (double bass), and companion Sander Cliquet (backing vocals, guitar, soundscapes). Brent Buckler (vocals, guitar) handled the recording, production and mixing himself.

The artwork was created by Lara Gasparotto, a photographer from Liège who has developed a distinctive visual language in which intimacy, mysticism and raw beauty come together.

Tracklist

  1. Right Through Me (in the half-light)
  2. Somewhere Out There (in the half-light)
  3. Fortune Fades (in the half-light)
  4. Electric Sea (in the half-light

Previously The Radar Station released "So Many Faces", a 3-track EP with reimagined versions of three songs of The Radar Station's successful second album 'Birds of Choice' (2025) and "Live at Room 13" an EP with live tracks of the same album.
The Radar Station played sold-out release tours for both their first and second albums, performing at venues including Ancienne Belgique, Trix, Het Depot, De Arenberg, and many more. This summer they will take stage at two Belgian festivals; Suikerrock in Tienen (8 August) and Maanrock in Mechelen (28 August).

    More About The Radar Station
The Radar Station emerged in 2017 from the musical collaboration between brothers Brent Buckler (vocals, guitar) and Sander Cliquet (guitar, backing vocals, synths), creating a distinctive blend of indie rock with cinematic soundscapes. Their sound has always been full of ambition, intensity and raw emotion - drawing inspiration from artists like The National, The War on Drugs, Sam Fender, Nick Cave and Big Thief.

In 2020, they won De Nieuwe Lichting, Belgium's top music contest, launching their debut album Life Inside A Tornado, which hit the airwaves on stations like Studio Brussel, Radio 1, Willy and Radio 2. With sold out shows at venues like AB, Trix and Het Depot and appearances at festivals including Dranouter and Labadoux, The Radar Station made its mark in the Belgian indie scene
After a few years of reflection and late night writing sessions in the south of France, The Radar Station returned in 2025 with a brand na new album, Birds Of Choice, produced by Koen Gisen (The Bony King Of Nowhere, Oscar & The Wolf, Nordmann). With Birds of Choice The Radar Station reached several radio playlists such as Radio 1, Radio Willy, and Classic 21and had the chance to bring the music live at De Roma, De Grote Post, Charlatan, Bar Dada,...
