Melody's Echo Chamber, the moniker of French musician Melody Prochet, returns with her new single "Daisy", a collaboration with El Michels Affair, aka Leon Michels (Clairo, Olivia Dean, Kali Uchis, Norah Jones).

A sparkling pop song plucked from the ether, "Daisy" features spidery fills and tricksy, Hendrix-like fret noodling that navigate their way through several key changes fluently and effortlessly. El Michels Affair's Grammy-winning mixer, Jens Jungkurth, was drafted in to bring everything to life.

"Daisy started as a daydream while listening to Leon's finest music," says Melody. "I reached out to him, and we instantly created this sweet overlapping zone—like an invisible playground between our worlds. It's a privilege to have made this one together!"

Leon Michels, aka El Michels Affair, is a Grammy award-winning producer and artist who has worked with the likes of Clairo, Norah Jones, Lizzo, The Carters, Wu-Tang Clan and more. He is also the co-founder of New York based label Big Crown Records home to artists such as Lee Fields, Lady Wray and Liam Bailey. His new album 24 Hr Sports is out now.


It's been an eventful decade or so for Melody Prochet and she has achieved much in spite of some tribulations: a mother and the maker of three critically lauded and much-loved albums: Bon Voyage from 2018, Emotional Eternal from 2022 as well as her critically acclaimed self-titled debut album in 2012. The last few years have also seen Melody release Unfold, featuring seven rare and unreleased tracks recorded around the time of Melody's Echo Chamber, embark on a lauded "comeback" tour in 2022 and collaborate with American psychedelic rock band, Crumb, on their single "Le Temple Volant".
