Recorded with singer Sune Rose Wagner, Your Love Walks Alone, the third single taken from Trentemøller’s new, untitled album, is a gothy torch song built from layers of industrial sized fuzz. “Ever since Sune sang on my track Deceive, we’d been talking about doing another song together. This time I had an instrumental that felt right for his voice, so I sent it over. He loved it, and pretty quickly came back with that great vocal that’s unmistakably Sune / The Raveonettes. With Your Love Walks Alone I feel like he hit the mood of the music perfectly”, says Trentemøller.

Trentemøller knew early on who he wanted singing on these songs. Anika, Midwife, Tan Cologne, Jonas Bjerre of Mew and Emma Acs are among them, a mix of friends and a few he had never worked with before. Emma Acs now sings in his live band. She also brought in the figure of the coyote, the trickster you can’t quite trust, which ended up giving Coyote its title. The album comes out on his very own label In My Room. “I’ve just never been much good at being told what to do”, he says.
